Sending Flowers / Drying Time

  • Sending Flowers: 1 month prior to your wedding or floral event, you will receive an email with the packing and shipping information for your flowers. Once they arrive, I will update you with a photo to show the condition they are in.

    Drying Time: The next step after I receive your flowers is to place them in silica gel to dry for the next 4-6 weeks (this time frame can be shorter or longer depending on the type of flowers received and the amount of current orders in the studio).

  • Your flowers are now in line for design! I’ll first confirm the items you ordered as well as your style preferences and then once I have a few designs ready, you will receive an email with the mock-ups.

    This stage of the preservation process is where you and I collaborate because I want to accurately capture your vision for your flowers! You’ll give me your feedback via email and mention any changes you might like to make to the mockups. Once you are happy with each design, we will move onto the next step.

Resin Process

Finishing touches

  • A final invoice has be sent (if applicable) since the designs have all been approved. This invoice must be paid before I begin on the resin.

    This step of the process is fragile, takes the most time and cannot be rushed for the sake of quality. Depending on the items you ordered and the season of your wedding, it can be 3-4 months before your item(s) are finished. *please keep this in mind when requesting updates*

  • Steps 1-4 are finished! Now it’s time to re-confirm your shipping address and send pictures of your final piece(s)! You should receive a confirmation email with the shipping information.

  • Now that the resin is finished, I’ve moved on to the final touches - this can include sanding, top coats, polishing, adding backing and so on.

  • Since your order has been delivered and you’ve had some time to enjoy it, I’ve sent you one last check-in email. I want to hear what you think of your special items! Your feedback means so much to me. At that time, I will also close out the “order updates” page on the website since your order will then be complete.
